Using Digital and Paper Coupons

What is the difference between digital coupons and paper coupons?

The Coupon Center offers both digital and paper coupons. Digital coupons have a light blue box and paper coupons have a dark blue box with a "paper" corner flap.

Digital Coupons: These are electronic coupons which are loaded to the Digital ID that you created. Log in to your account and click on the digital coupon checkbox to load to your Digital ID, and it will be ready to use. If you wish, you can print a list of the coupon details to take to the store. Pick up the items at the store and enter your Digital ID number on the pin pad at the register, and your savings are automatically applied to your purchases.

Paper Coupons: There is no need to log in to clip and print paper coupons. These are the traditional paper coupons that require a printer to print. The paper coupons are then taken to a Stater Bros. Market and handed to the cashier during check out. The cashier applies the coupons to your purchases manually.

How do I clip and redeem digital coupons?

In order to clip digital coupons, first you'll need to register an account and create a Digital ID on the StaterBros.com website. Once your registration is activated and you have successfully logged in, you can clip digital coupons on the StaterBros.com Coupon Center page. Simply click on the checkbox for any digital coupon and it will automatically be added to your Digital ID and ready to use. The next time you shop at one of our neighborhood Stater Bros. Markets locations, your coupons will be waiting for you. Simply enter your Digital ID on the pin pad at check out and watch the discounts apply to your purchases.

Do I have to register an account in order to select any coupon offers?

You can clip and print as many of the paper coupons as you want. There is no need to sign in or register an account. Just simply select your coupons and print. Then, take your printed coupons to Stater Bros. Markets to redeem them for extra savings on top of our Everyday Low Prices. If you want to keep track of what paper coupons have been clipped, you will need to log in. Once logged in, any clipped paper coupons will show in the Coupon List page under the "Active Coupons" tab.

If you would like to use digital coupon offers, you'll have to establish an account with StaterBros.com. Once your registration has been activated and you have successfully logged in, you can clip as many of the digital and paper coupons as you need. You must print your paper coupons and bring them to Stater Bros. Markets, but your digital coupons will be available to apply at the register by entering your Digital ID on the pin pad.

Can I use both a digital coupon and a paper coupon for the same item?

You will not be able to redeem a digital coupon and a paper coupon offer on the same item as per manufacturer guidelines. Please see the Stater Bros. Markets Coupon Policy for more information.

How will I know if my digital and/or paper coupons were deducted from my purchases?

At the register, you will be able to view the savings happen on the register screen and when the transaction is complete, the savings will be displayed on your receipt.

Can digital coupons be used more than once?

No, digital coupons can only be redeemed one time for the specified item.

Printing Paper Coupons

How do I print my coupons?

Click on the checkbox for the paper coupon offer that you wish to use from the Coupon Center. Once you've selected all of your coupons, click on the "Print Paper" link in the upper right side of the page. All the selected paper coupons will be sent to your printer. Click on the print function of your printer and retrieve your paper coupons. If you have not installed the printer driver yet, a pop-up window will direct you to set this up. Follow the step-by-step Installation Wizard instructions. Once installed, you can print your paper coupons and then redeem them at a Stater Bros. Market during check out.

Can I save the paper coupons I've selected and print/view them at a later time?

At this time, you cannot save paper coupon offers. If you navigate away from the Coupon Center page without selecting the "Print Coupons" button or link, you will lose any selected coupons.

Why can't I print coupons I selected with my mobile phone?

The paper coupons that you clip on StaterBros.com require a special printer driver in order to print. Coupon manufacturer integrity requires that the coupons be printed in a controlled and recognizable format using this secured printer driver. The download of the coupon printer driver is not supported by mobile devices and many mobile devices do not support printing capability.

Why can't I print coupons when Windows 8 is in "Metro mode"?

Users in "Metro mode" won't be able to print coupons since Windows 8 operating system disables ALL plugins, including the Coupon Printer. You will have to switch to classic mode to be able to print coupons.

Digital ID

Where do I get a Digital ID?

You can create your Digital ID at www.staterbros.com by clicking on "Register" at the top right corner of the homepage. Complete the registration page and activate your account by responding to the Activate Account email. Once activated, you can use your Digital ID.

I forgot my Digital ID. How do I find my number?

Log in to your account on the StaterBros.com website and access the Coupon Center page. Your Digital ID will be displayed on the upper right side. You can also find your Digital ID by accessing the "Account Profile" link on the left side. Your Digital ID will be displayed at the top of the page. Unfortunately, if you forget your Digital ID at the register, the cashier will not be able to retrieve it. So, make sure your Digital ID number is a memorable number that you would not easily forget.

Registration and Login

I've already registered for an online account on StaterBros.com. How do I access my account?

If you've previously created an online account on StaterBros.com, then you do not need to register again. Simply click on the "Login" link in the top right corner and log in using the login email address and password you registered with. Then you can start loading digital and paper coupons to your account by selecting coupons.

Why didn't I receive an activation confirmation email?

Once you complete the registration page, an email is sent within 5 minutes to the email account you registered with. There may be several reasons why you may not have received your registration confirmation email.

  1. Your email account may have redirected the account verification confirmation email to your SPAM or JUNK folder. Check in either of these folders on your email account for an Account Verification email message from Stater Bros. Markets to complete the registration.
  2. Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) may have blocked the message. Inquire with your ISP why the message from Stater Bros. Markets is being blocked.
  3. It is also possible that the registered email address was invalid and has been rejected. If so, you will need to re-register an account on StaterBros.com using a valid email address that you can access.

If you need to have the email sent again, try logging in again. A page will be displayed noting that registration activation is not completed and a button to request the email be sent again will be available. Click on that button and check your email account.

Coupon List

How do I view the coupons I've selected?

You must be logged into your StaterBros.com account to view your Coupon List. From the Coupon Center page, click on the "Coupon List" link from the left navigation. You will see all of your active coupons displayed in a table provided.

How do I know if my digital coupon(s) expired?

The digital coupons expire at different times. The coupon expiration date can be found at the bottom left corner of the coupon image. You can also access the Coupon List after you have logged in and view "Expired Coupons" by clicking on the appropriate tab.
