Using Digital and Paper Coupons

What is the difference between digital coupons and paper coupons?

Stater Bros. Digital Deals offers both digital and paper coupons. Digital coupons have a light blue digital icon Digital Icon and paper coupons have a dark blue paper icon .

Digital Coupons: These are electronic coupons which are saved to the Digital ID that you created. To use digital coupons you must enter your Digital ID number on the pin pad at the register, and your savings are automatically applied to your purchases.

Paper Coupons: There is no need to sign in to clip and print paper coupons. These are the traditional paper coupons that require a printer to print. The paper coupons are then taken to a Stater Bros. Market and handed to the cashier during check out. The cashier applies the coupons to your purchases manually.

How do I redeem digital coupons?

The next time you shop at one of our neighborhood Stater Bros. Markets locations, your coupons will be waiting for you. Simply enter your Digital ID on the pin pad at check out and watch the discounts apply to your purchases.

Do I have to register an account in order to select coupon offers?

You can clip and print as many of the paper coupons as you want. There is no need to sign in or register an account. Just simply select your coupons and print. Then, take your printed coupons to Stater Bros. Markets to redeem them for extra savings on top of our Everyday Low Prices. If you want to keep track of what paper coupons have been clipped, you will need to sign in. Once signed in, any clipped paper coupons will show on the "My Coupons" page.

If you would like to use digital coupon offers, you'll have to establish an account with Once you have successfully signed in, you can clip as many of the digital and paper coupons as you need. You must print your paper coupons and bring them to Stater Bros. Markets, but your digital coupons will be available to apply at the register by entering your Digital ID on the pin pad.

Can I use both a digital coupon and a paper coupon for the same item?

You will not be able to redeem a digital coupon and a paper coupon offer on the same item as per manufacturer guidelines. Please see the Stater Bros. Markets Coupon Policy for more information.

How will I know if my digital and/or paper coupons were deducted from my purchases?

At the register, you will be able to view the savings happen on the register screen and when the transaction is complete, the savings will be displayed on your receipt.

Can digital coupons be used more than once?

No, digital coupons can only be redeemed one time for the specified item.

Printing Paper Coupons

How do I print my coupons?

Click on the "Print paper coupons" link in the upper right side of the page. Select the coupons you wish to print and click the Print Coupons button at the top right of the screen. Click on the print function of your printer and retrieve your paper coupons. If you have not installed the printer driver yet, a pop-up window will direct you to set this up. Follow the step-by-step Installation Wizard instructions. Once installed, you can print your paper coupons and then redeem them at a Stater Bros. Market during check out.

Can I save the paper coupons I've selected and print/view them at a later time?

In order to save coupons for later viewing and printing you must create and sign in to an account. Use the Sign In or Sign Up links at the top of the page.

Why can't I print coupons I selected with my mobile phone?

The paper coupons that you clip on require a special printer driver in order to print. Coupon manufacturer integrity requires that the coupons be printed in a controlled and recognizable format using this secured printer driver. The download of the coupon printer driver is not supported by mobile devices and many mobile devices do not support printing capability.

Why can't I print coupons when Windows 8 is in "Metro mode"?

Users in "Metro mode" won't be able to print coupons since Windows 8 operating system disables ALL plugins, including the Coupon Printer. You will have to switch to classic mode to be able to print coupons.

Where do I get a Digital ID?

You can create your Digital ID by clicking on "Sign Up" at the top right corner of the page and providing a few pieces of information.

I forgot my Digital ID. How do I find my number?

Your Digital ID is displayed at the top right of the page when you are signed in.

Registration and Login

I've already registered for an online account on How do I access my account?

Click the Sign In link at the top right of the page. You will be able to sign in with either your email address or Digital ID.

Clipping Errors

Why do I get an error saying "Sorry, 'Coupon Name' no longer available" when I clip?

We do our best to ensure that our customers are not shown offers that are not valid. However, many of the coupons we make available through Digital Deals have strict limits set by the manufacturer as to the total number of offers.

Why do I get an error saying "Unable to execute clip on 'Coupon Name'. Please try again." when I clip?

While our engineers work tirelessly to ensure a seemless experience, sometimes there are server and network issues that prevent a clip from executing. Please try the clip again. If you see this message multiple times during a session please use the Contact Us link below to request assistance from our support team.
